When people think about pregnancy symptoms, the first symptom that come on top is a missed period. What people don’t seem to realize is that there are very early symptoms before missed period. Its important to note that before a woman can notice that she has missed her period, there are symptoms which are manifest but which many women ignore. One of the symptoms before missed period is an elevated basal body temperature. What this essentially means is that the body’s basal temperature begins to rise after ovulation. Breast tenderness and nipple enlargement is also another common symptom before a woman misses her periods. A woman will notice increased swelling of the breasts as well as tenderness of the breasts.
Nausea and vomiting is also very common. A woman feels like throwing up often and this is an indication that she is pregnant. Other symptoms include constipation and increased fatigue. A woman finds herself tired most of the time and this is an indication that she is pregnant. The changing levels of hormone progesterone slows down the movement of food through the digestive system hence leading to constipation. The above symptoms are experienced before a woman misses her periods. However, most women do not notice and only acknowledge that they might be pregnant after missing their period.
